•  This large hone strop is an excellent tool for honing. It is unique because of the special rubber-like material used on the strop. This material eliminates the inconsistencies of leather & will greatly outlast leather strops. When used with a fine abrasive, it will produce a bright mirror-like polished edge on tools. The strop surface can be renewed periodically with a little detergent & water. Each strop is bound to a wooden handle, & has a round edge for honing the inside of gouges & curved blades, & a 45° edge for the inside of V parting tools. Note: Use this strop with a fine abrasive for best results, & for razor sharp edges. See here  for the white power abrasive.
