"Le Petit Chef" set is idealĀ for teaching children how to cook in safety. This set includes a round-tipped blade made of stainless steel, perfect for cutting & slicing thinly. The learning ring on the handleĀ helps position the fingers correctly & prevents the hand from slipping onto the blade. The peeler has a stainless steel blade & a learning ring as well, which will help position the fingers correctly for easy peeling by pulling. The set also includes a plastic finger guard to protect the hand holding the food to be cut. The "claw" position on the guard can be adapted, with the first two phalanges bent & the thumb & the little finger holding the food - just like the leading chefs!
