• This precision Veritas Honing Guide is a durable & accurate jig for shapening edge-cutting tools. It has a very wide roller, & is uniquely suited to adding a micro bevel after sharpening. Simply hone then turn the guide setting knob & give it a few more strokes. The main frame is made from a die-casting, & the other parts are all machined from brass & steel. For maximum versatility, it should be used with the angle setting jig which has the five most common bevel angles built into a pentagon wheel See here. For chisel & plane iron blades up to 2-3/8” wide & 5/8” thickness. *Note: Stone & Chisel in picture not included.
