  The Classic Stanley Sweetheart No. 4 Smoothing Bench Plane is made from extra thick, 1/8" A2 steel for excellent edge retention, with a one-piece base & frog. It has a Norris-type adjuster with lateral locking feature, & adjustable throat plate for different types of wood. It has a Cherry Wood handle & knob for comfort - Solid brass hardware. A very special & quality plane. Note: Honing is recommended before use.
